I absolutely loved my stay here. The helpful and friendly staff really made the stay more pleasurable. The view from our room was beautiful, the studio on the top floor was very appreciated and I did really lovely yoga classes twice. You get a little discount for being a guest at the hotel. My only criticism would be the lunch menu wasn't that great for vegetarians. If the quality and variation of food was improved this I would have rated this hotel as exceptional.

I don't know if I had bad luck due to the dates. I went new year's weekend. But this two-star hotel costed me 14500 pesos (852 usd) for 3 nights. It was a horrible experience. No TV, no water pressure, the wifi was horrible, the beds were super hard, the towels were terrible. The pool was dirty, I saw a bunch of roaches. The manager kept saying everything is to be changed every 3 days, the sheets, the towels etc. Total rip off. On the positive side, the staff was very polite and the food was decent. The Italian bar tender made an amazing michelada. This hotel was worth 70 dollars/night tops. It is sad because it has lots of potential. Don't come here unless you are a rich hippy.

I had a great time here. The location is fantastic, just a few blocks away from the main stretch of La Punta. I walked on my own there and back at all times of day and late evening with no problems although it is quite dark in the area at night. I booked the Sol room as a solo traveler and found it perfect. The room was small but with plenty of space for one person. The balcony was a lovely place to relax and read. The bathroom was small and, as others have mentioned, the floors get very wet from the shower. I would describe it as good value for what it is but it did feel a bit like a slightly more upscale solo room in a hostel--which was, in fact, exactly what I was looking for. The common areas were lovely and the pool was great to have just to dip my feet in or sit in the shallow end when it was hot. The breakfast was continental-style although I found it to be plenty of food if you were sort of strategic. Everyone was very caring and there were tons of staff members around if you needed anything.

The hotel is very well located, 3min walk to the Main Street with all the cafés and bars. The rooms are well-sized and comfortable. |There was an electricity power failure the first night we came so we had no electricity, wifi or AC. But they kindly refunded the night, so we were overall satisfied with the service !

Do not get the hype. Never had wifi once, a bit by reception? Told the host about this multiple times, was never fixed. There were so much stains on the ‘clean’ sheets, even a hair 🤮. One pair of earplugs, no shell to point out we want fresh sheets?, shower pressure afwul. There’s a drinkable water dispenser but doesn’t work… list is endless. And everyone working there sits on their phone all day, fix some stuff instead.
